Dr. English repaired my meniscus 4 days ago. I'm walking fine now and doing my exercises. I'm optimistic that this procedure will keep a knee replacement at bay for a while. Dr. English is kind and gentle. He personally checked on with me late in the afternoon of the surgery. Fortunately, I'm getting to know him a little better with each visit. Thank you to Dr. English, the nurses and staff for the care and attention.

My first visit as a patient and all I can say is the entire staff I interfaced with were all friendly, helpful wand patient in answering all my questions. Dr. English provided a diagnosis with X-Rays and discussed options with me. Very low key yet factual and straightforward. I was provided additional information to read which I found very thorough and helpful. I highly recommend Georgetown Orthopedic Group.

Dr. English did both TKA's - August 2019 and March 2020. The first surgery was a walk in the park. The second one, not so much... But both times the office staff was extremely kind and caring. They always made sure I had good pain management, which was the first thing on my wish list! Each visit was as 'fun' as a post-op knee visit can be. Alaina and Amy, his assistants were always there to return voicemails, and were encouraging when I was doubting during the second recovery. Lucas, the PA, is good with explanations and encouragement. Dr. English is funny, kind and listens to his patients - a good thing! All in all, I recommend this office and Dr. English highly. Now that I am back to good knee health I am returning to activities long since enjoyed. The surgery was worth it - don't wait too long. Get it done and over with, and sooner to return to pain-free living. Something to note: the hospital (Georgetown St. David's) is now doing TKAs as 23 hour stays, in other words, you go home the next day. That worked for me for the second knee because I was an 'experienced TKA patient'... I don't think I could have done such a short stay on my first knee....

They were very accommodating by seeing me the day after I hurt my knee. The staff were great and Dr. Lucas was awesome.
