The day Of my second month with moy tung I paid my monthly fees and a more senior student began leading me in the first form. He was doing the form incorrectly and I told him I thought so, He called the female instructor over to put me in my place. She was mad I (challenged) his instructions but it turned out i was correct and I asked what the technique was Called he said he didn’t know. I asked the female instructor what that technique was called and she said (it’s just something we do). After she left I asked the senior student how long he had been studying at moy tung. He said over a year. They like to tell you they want their students to figure IT out for them selves. Well I figured it out. 1 year students who don’t know how to do the first form and an angry condescending instructor who doesn’t know the names of the Techniques. And after a month, the actual instructor (the owner I believe) Graced me with actual instruction twice maybe 30-40 seconds of his time. The whole experience was a waist of time and money. Real instructors are not afraid to answer questions, demonstrate a technique and actually know the name of the techniques. That was the end of it for me with them, I never returned. The money was a waist as was the time. It was a bad experience from start to finish. But they really do have pictures of their instructor standing next to someone important to wing Chung i was told. The pictures really are a thing. LookIng at the photos is supposed to give you confidence in moy tung Academy.

This school has helped me mostly in other areas of my life through more confidence, but is also teaching me a new skill set. The instructors are very helpful and knowledgeable. For good exercise and a good time you need to check it out.

I don’t need to write a paragraph or go on and on about this place. The truth is that this space is genuine. The culture of training is real and it adheres to the tradition it was passed on to the school originally by Moy Yat. Come see for yourself.

I can't speak high enough about my experience training at this academy. You get what you put into it.

I am 46 and have been wanting to learn kung fu most of my adult life, but found most martial arts facilities too commercialized. This has been everything I have been looking for. No belts or showy forms. Just straight kung fu and self defense for the most reasonable prices I have ever seen. You will love it here!
