My apologies. The last text was posted incorrectly. Now, about Rover Tours. This is our second visit on this tour to visit the island and look for shells. Truth is - you might get lucky finding some very good shells, or you might now. Just depends on what the tide brings in. But the best part of this ride is listening to the local guides narrate and provide historical information about the local community and the surrounding areas. We've been lucky to have a different guide each time. Both have been very knowledgeable and friendly beyond belief. You will enjoy the ride, the company, and guides and captain. And, you just might be lucky and find some really good shells.

We had a great time. I wish we could have been on island longer! The captain and mate were very informative.

Went out on the 4pm cruise and it was a beautiful day. Saw dolphins, the lighthouse, sunset and got a few nice shells. It isn't just a shelling cruise so if that's all you want it might not be for you. If you love history and nature and shelling then you'll love this trip. Paige was extremely knowledgeable and gave great information throughout the entire trip as well as being super friendly! Thanks Paige! The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was because we arrived the 30min before hand like recommended and the boat was already full so took seats on the metal bench. After 3 hours total round trip on that we were feeling pretty rough. Some sort of padding is definitely needed because of the length of this trip. We would definitely come back and bring guests here again but only if we knew that was improved. Thanks so much!

If you are looking for something to do then this is the place to go. Order your tickets online and show up early for the experience of a lifetime. Dave and Paige will take you out to the North Island where you will get the chance to find really hard to find seashells. On the way to the Island you will learn a lot about the history of South Carolina and the city of Georgetown. Very educational and fun at the same time.
