I was very apprehensive to go to treatment for the first time. After many years of struggles in life I finally decided to ask for help. Upon arriving at The Arbor I was greeted with smiles, respect and compassion. The men's house community took me in like I was a family member. Due to the expertise of the staff at The Arbor, I can gratefully say I've achieved over a year of sobriety and have regained happiness in my life. The inpatient and outpatient treatment I received taught me about addiction and also taught me how to live an all around healthy life. Thank you for saving my life!

Adult daycare, DISORGANIZED, ALL patients are influenced to do 90 days plus Sober Living - actually coerced - they manipulate loved ones who are not familiar with mental health/substance abuse treatment to convince their loved one to stay and get as much money in as possible - not understanding the damage they cause, treatment is not individualized to each person, recommendations are based on the counselor’s experience in recovery (news flash!!! Nobody cares), per a patient - staff brag about their education or credentials, horrible communication that causes more harm than good, patient’s safety is at risk because “clinical” staff place them with psychotic individuals who have attacked a worker in front of patients - triggering their own symptoms, do NOT recommend!!!! Please, if you want your loved one to be SAFE and allowed to make decisions with their recovery, do not choose this facility. I am sadly disappointed and concerned for my loved one. As I have read in other posts do your research.

Thanks so much to The Arbor, all the staff, and administration! They handled this national disaster with poise and grace. I’m enjoying my experience, despite uncomfortable acts of God, and would recommend 10/10. Bless you all for making a difference. #wedorecover

If you don't want to have your confidentiality broken, I would not recommend. I have contemplated writing this post for a month because the first time I was at Arbor it was great. So great I wanted to attend again. Until I was admitted, I was informed the program had completely changed. I should have left right then. Upon arrival, I was told that I had the right as a client not to sign an ROI (release of information) for my parents, being an adult. However, my confidentiality was completely broken after I was there 27 days. When I reported this to the higher ups, (Dr. BS and Elisabeth), I was told that I would be kicked out if I did not sign an ROI. I am not kidding. They did this after breaking my confidentiality. In disbelief, I signed the ROI. 48 hours later, I decided to submit a grievance. Dr. Brian was in the room when I submitted the grievance and told me I would have to leave. I told him I would not submit the grievance and I was able to stay. Within the next few days, after building disappointment, I left. He immediately called my parents with my new ROI and told them not to pick me up. I am lucky to have a recovery professional in my family to stand up to him and pick me up. I'm giving 2 stars because of my first experience in 2013. I want the facility to stop their systemic lying and threatening clients and to be inspired to change back to the old ways (which were amazing). No amount of yoga can make up for having your client Bill of Rights broken. I am still sober.

When it comes to sharing the experience I had with the Arbor I don’t know where to start. First and foremost the staff from top to bottom are absolutely amazing. Their positivity alongside with the fact that they actually care about the clients really sets the table for an experience that really changed my life. I was shown an easier way of thinking and living through my own hard work and also shown that I was worthy of so much more life has to offer. It doesn’t stop with in-treatment with the arbor. When I finished my 90 day in-patient treatment I furthered my aftercare with IOP and advocacy. There I found the perfect transition to everyday life in recovery. I truly cannot state it enough how incredible the staff is there at the arbor and I will forever be grateful for them and the experience they brought to me.
