Absolutely recommend!! Starr & Linda were super nice. Starr gave us our little speech (she's a great story teller!) & we were on our way. For Covid, they only allow one group per tour. Walkins are welcome (we didn't have a reservation & only had to wait for the one family that was in the home when we arrived). They sanitize the house prior to the next family (amazing!). You wait in the gift shop (which is also where you buy the tickets for the tour). You're in the home alone, which is nice bc you can read the brochure and create your own little story w no one around. Very fun!! Would absolutely do again. One adult ticket is 9.50tax (which is typical for museums in the area). They give military & AARP discount.

The tour of the home was fantastic. A must see stop if you're in Gettysburg. The home is small but full of history and worth the visit. My wife is handicapped and able to walk with assistance. She was able to tour the house but the basement was not accessible ( this is no fault of the owners and I don't expect them to change a thing) the guide was very courteous and helpful. Our guide found a place for her to sit in the gift shop and my wife had a wonderful conversation with the cashier while I was able to see the basement. My wife had a wonderful time and I encourage anyone with a disability to visit and just ask how they may be accommodated so history can be shared. I'm sure the staff at the Jenny Wade house will bend over backwards to help make your visit memorable.

When arriving, Sarah and another older worker told us we had to wait close to an hour to go on the next tour, informed us about the new guidelines, etc. At that time we asked about grabbing something quick to eat to which they gave us a recommendation. We said thank you and proceeded to go to the recommended place across the street. Arriving 10 minutes before the scheduled tour, we arrived to find that the time was sold out. Not once did either employee state that there was a potential to sell out. Sarah even stated something like they \couldn't hold the tickets\. So I asked why we weren't informed this in the first place while we talking. No reply... Crickets. Now I will admit that we too should have I also inquired, but isn't it their responsibility since they work there? We were not able to make the next hour which was 40 minutes later because this was our last stop before heading home. This is my ONLY negative review as the rest of our experiences was near perfect while in Gettysburg. My family is so disappointed...

They are doing self guided tours right now, which is great! I was happy we can go visit even if it's not the usual tour group. We heard lots of info outside at night from the ghostly images tour. They also have a pressed penny machine in the gift shop.

If your in Gettysburg, make this an additional stop. An interesting piece of history on top of the battlefield history. The self tour was only available when we were there which was just fine with us. Viewing the rounds in and outside the house was pretty amazing. The staff is very friendly. Only 8 per person with military discount. We also took time to visit Jennie's grave nearby.
