Incredible views and a very important part of our American history. This was my favorite spot in the park.

It was a beautiful day. There were people there but not crowded so it was easy to see everything. A guide was there and he explained about the battle there. He did a good job and really made what happened understandable. We also climbed up to Big Round Top. It was good but different, and you do climb up to it. In the summer with leaves the view will be different.
A not to be missed experience. The park itself is very well kept and beautiful. Park rangers are about to help give out directions or offer assistance if needed. Many of the locations are handicap accessible. It is nice to see parents remind the kids to not climb on absolutely everything, as this is all hallowed ground and more to most of us than a gymnasium. Pay respects at Gettysburg, it saved our nation.
The view was incredible especially when you know the history.
Talked to Captain Dan near the artillery battery on Halloween. Very knowledgeable and fun to talk to as he pointed out minute details you wouldn't catch on the several well detailed and insightful signs. Made the beautiful and humbling site that much more interesting. Thanks Dan!
