Amazing views of the entire area. There is a hitching post at the bottom to tie up our horses, so make sure you bring a halter/lead rope if you want to take a short break and walk to the top.

Well worth the climb to the top. The views are great and there are posters around the sides to show you exactly what you are looking at as well as all of the landmarks on the centre pole with arrows. It was busy when we went but could be very peaceful on a quieter day.

Great tower to climb. All steel construction and very sturdy. Had a blast climbing to the top. The view is worth all the stairs as well as the cool breeze. Very clean and well kept. Had a good time and easy to park and enjoy. Did cost anything.

Gettysburg is full of history and beautiful scenery. One of the best places to get a birds eye view of the battlefields is the observation tower. You are going to want to be ready to walk up quite a few flight of steps but it is worth the extra cardio. We always have a good time when we head up here. I would highly recommend it. A great place for families.

Very worth the climb if you're able! It's 6.5 flights of stairs, not the steepest, just a bit. Once you get to the top, there's a semicircle bench and interpretive signs. The view is amazing!
