Cool little piece of history. My wife snapped some pics with a few odd figures in the background... I recommend visiting and researching the history of the bridge

We came here on a Friday morning, and other than a few people who seemed to be doing a self-guided tour, we had the place to ourselves. While there seemed to be a fair amount of parking on either side of the bridge, we approached it from the eastern side, coming from Route 15, and were treated to parts of the Battlefield. The bridge is in pristine condition, and unlike a lot of other covered bridges in Pennsylvania, there was access to the creek at every angle. There a little dam on the eastern side of the bridge, and because of the low water levels, made for a fun spot for some photos. Again, visiting there on an early Friday morning made it for a pleasant stop. This is not a drive through bridge.
It's a nice, little drive just outside of town. There are parking lots on either side of the bridge. The lots aren't large, but people cycle through pretty quickly. I'm sure it's a much different experience at nighttime.
Beauty and Spookyness combined with historic history. A must visit. And it is truly a haunted location.
This is a great place to check out when in Gettysburg. It's a supposedly haunted location with a ton of history attached to it. A great free attraction to check out for sure!
