I bought my wedding dress here and they made it just the way I wanted it at a decent price. Thank you so much!

I bought my wedding dress from here, Heidi was great. I went during the first opening weekend after covid shut down and she really was fabulous. My dress came several weeks later and 2/3 fittings went well. Had it not been for my final fitting and pick up and the interaction that followed with their seamstress they would have received 5 stars. I come in and my 1k wedding dress is hanging in the store in a plastic bag. She hands it to me and when I ask about trying it on she (the seamstress) acts like it’s a foreign concept. That’s the point of a final fitting correct? Since my last fitting she had taken in the dress a little at the waist, and had made my bustle which I had no idea how to work. She regains her bearings and has me wait which is fine I wasn’t in a rush. Try on the dress it’s all fine and dandy. And then I ask her if I may have an actual garment bag for my dress so it can be stored properly, and she said they didn’t have one for my dress. Sorry, but when you spend almost 1300 on a dress and alterations, I would think that I would have an actual garment bag and not a literal plastic bag. I watched several prom kids walk out with their dresses in the proper storage bag, shame my wedding dress wasn’t as important.

Heidi altered two bridesmaids dresses for me in the past, and did excellent work while also being flexible with my schedule. For one, I was out of town and couldn't try on the dress again until the day before the wedding, and she still managed to fit in last minute tweaks for me. Knowing her quality of work, I brought my wedding dress to her when it was time for my wedding. Her quality of work is great (I'm short so it needed a lot of hemming, and I had lost weight since buying the dress so the waist and bust needed altering). The dress fit me perfectly on the wedding day, and again she was considerate of my scheduling needs when setting appointment times. My dress had a lot of lace/layers/beading detail, and she did an excellent job altering it.

The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because they don’t have a handicapped accessible ramp. I feel like nowadays every place should have some sort of handicap ramp because you never know who’s going to need. Even the bride could need a ramp. But other than that I had a good experience here
