A classic, and still a staple of the State Fair is the Giant Slide. Nothing gets simpler than a burlap sack and a very large hill. The interesting quirk of the slide is it's nothing but gravity that makes it work, so unlike some of the other rides that tend to loose some of their thrill over the years, the bigger you get, the more harrowing the ride. Be warned if you clock in at more than a few bills, you will catch some air on this thing. If you've written this off as a kid's ride, you may just not have been on it in a while.

I remember going down the giant slide when I was little. It was a lot of steps up and a little intimidating to look at before going down. At least it was for a small child. Anyways, it was a lot of fun and sometimes to look forward to during the year.
My ultimate goal in life is to go down this slide naked in 100 degree heat! I believe the sweat from my buttox and other erogenous zones will propell me faster than any man or women b4 who has slid down this \giant slide\. I hope my training as a Jamaican bobsled team member will give world record times in this attempt. Watch this fair on Labor Day, while I attempt to beat the speed record of 10 mph. My goal is 10.1 mph. Please come and cheer me on and feel free to chant \get naked\ while I climb the steps of infamy. Note: chanting \get naked\ will really help me build my self confidence in this endeavor to do so and I thank you beforehand now if you participate.
It's a slide. It's giant.
Fun!!!
