We have been using Piedmont to process our cattle and pigs for the past 4 years. I highly recommend them. The finished product is great, the consistency is great, office staff is super helpful.

Initially the woman was very helpful in filling out my cut sheet, but I suppose I asked too many questions and got under her skin. I also asked in the special instructions to have my chops and steaks cut at 1 and 1/2 inches but received them in half inch cuts. It's not like I can go back and have them re-cut. I was not offered any compensation for the incorrect cuts.

We raised our first cow and needed a place to have him processed. There were several choices and reviews for different places but we eventually brought him to PCM. My review begins at the front office with Jamie who was both patient and helpful. I had many questions about pricing and what to expect when we brought as the cow had become more than just a cow to my family. Ronnie was incredibly informative about bovine diet prior to processing, tips on what to charge for the cow shares and meat breeds in general. Dave at the processing plant spent 30 minutes or more helping my husband and I fill out the cut sheets. He also was incredibly informative and genuinely interested in walking us through the process. The day came to transport our cow for humane kill and I wasn’t sure how rough that would be. It was a very low stress transition from the trailer to the building. There was no prodding or rush to drive our cow up the chute. He was allowed to slowly make his way up to the building. I called to ask the hanging weight of the cow so that we could inform our customers of what their fee would be. The information was readily available and it made it easy to put things in order prior to pick up. On the day of pick up Jamie had our invoice ready, we paid our very reasonable fee and met Tim on the loading dock. Everything was beautifully packaged, labeled and color coded for us and our customers. I apologize for the long review but there are so many people working for PCM who deserve mentioning. I found this company to be excellent in every aspect of processing and I would highly recommend them and utilize their services for future needs.

They did what said they would do,they were on time & the meat has been delicious. I intend to use them again. The prices are very competitive with all others I contacted. My experience with them was great.

We have been using Piedmont Custom Meats for a year and we have been very satisfied with our experience. There are more options on how to butcher meat than most people realize and it can be confusing but the staff have always been courteous, patient and helpful. We have had great reviews on their bacon with several of our customers commenting that it was the best they have ever had. They are happy to be as simple or complex with our cut sheets as we want to be and they take their time with us sorting things out. As a small farming operation we feel like they have taken good care of us.
