I used to LOVE Gigi's. The cupcakes are indeed delicious. My favorite is the wedding cupcake. I can just eat all of the icing by itself. I haven't visited in quite some time now because the last time I entered, the lady behind the counter did not hear me come in and she was COUGHING like she needed to be at home or in a doctor's office! All I could think of was her baking and coughing on everything! I don't know if she was the actual baker but I politely turned and walked out. I don't even think she noticed that I was standing there. Since then, as bad as I crave Gigi's (daily), I can't seem to go in there. A few times before I'd gone in, I stood at the counter too long waiting for someone to come from the back. They need to invest in a door chime and not allow anyoneto work around food when ill. But, again, it's been several months since I last visited. I miss going but I just can't because now all I think about is her coughing all over the place.

Yesterday was my first time being here I figured while I was in Flowood I should go ahead and stop by. I got a wedding cupcake, german chocolate, oreo double stuffed & red velvet. These cupcakes are okay. After eating my second cupcake first I had the wedding cake and second I had the red velvet -- I was really hoping the red velvet would have a cream cheese icing instead it was a vanilla. There's too much Icing for my taste. I found it strange that the red velvet made my mouth pink, it was like there was a light pink dye. Correction my fiancé liked that the oreo one tasted like ice cream, but as of today he said he doesn't like them. Their only 3.75, I also came earlier in the day around 10:30-11am and there was plenty to choose from. This place isn't horrible, but I probably won't come back. I would suggest that you put a bell on your door so you can hear when someone comes in & have a price list of anything you sell in your store. The two ladies behind the counter were very nice.
I was on my way to check into my hotel near the airport as I was looking for somewhere to eat I about broke my neck when I saw the Gigi sign from the road. Of course I ordered 4! To be honest I was a little disappointed as they were not as good as I remembered from last summer when I was in Nashville. Don’t get me wrong they were still good but I was looking for that WOW factor! Pictures were from my Nashville visit!
Thank you so much Gigi. The mini banana cream pie cupcakes were amazing. This was for my enlisted military promotion ceremony.

Best cupcakes and cheesecake cupcakes, not just in Flowood, but possibly In the country. Gigi generously covers each cupcake with 3 layers of frosting. Which at times can be a “little over the top” with sweetness, but Id rather have more than less when it comes to spending. Each and every cupcake tastes freshly baked and displays just as professionally as the next. Walking into Gigi’s is like walking into a slice of heaven. It is clean from top to bottom, whatever young employee she had working is friendly and eager to help. I strongly suggest the cherry cheesecake cupcake. Consider yourself warned, it can easily be added to your very own cravings list.
