Most amazing place we have visited. Scenery breathtaking, casita was wonderful, very well stocked lovely open fire. Hot tub under the stars was literally out of this world! So peaceful no noise just the birds singing. Comfy bed and hot shower. Bliss
Great place to get away! It was so relaxing to be here! We saw a whole group of quail and lots of beautiful birds!
Beyond peaceful, comfy and safe. Great star watching and birdwatching. Flocks of quail toddling past the porch.
The lady and I got out to a retreat in Silver City, New Mexico. We were welcomed by Becky and Michael to there lovely property and escorted to there private casitas. The Casitas de Gila is the perfect getaway away from everyone. We had plans to get out and see some of the historic sites. However, due to the rain and the comfort of the casita, we relaxed and enjoyed the nature we were presented with at the retreat. Most definitely going back with family if and when we are free to enjoy all the amenities of Casitas de Gila. Overall it’s an awesome getaway very private and social distance is highly respected. Thank you, Becky and Michael, Best, Joshua Aguilar and Tracie my wife.

Fabulous setting. Wish I could live there. Unfortunately, co-owner Becky has an open bias against persons with disabilities. Very unwelcoming toward us and our registered and trained service animal. Unfortunately, this will keep us from returning. I’m concerned for others with disabilities or other differences that she will prohibit from accessing this location because of her prejudices. Not only is it offensive and stigmatizing, it’s illegal.
Truly a treasure! Plan to arrive when it is light out because the road in is winding and you want to see the sun set over Turtle mountain and the Gila range. Casitas have everything you need for a relaxing adventure. Hot tub with the brilliant stars above and a glass of wine is the reward for a day spent hiking or biking!
