During my visit, I was greeted by a medical assistant that was very sweet and explained everything that was going to happen during the visit. Then Dr. Mullens came into the examining room and he was so calm and spoke in a very soft but yet effective tone. After expressing my concern about my skin, his explanation was carefully thought out. He didn't jump at the chance to do something just to make money. He explained that my situation was unique and that he may not be able to help me. He explained why and it made a ton of sense. I like the fact that he was straightforward and honest.

The front and back office provide excellent customer service, so this is a big plus for me! Dr. Mullens' bed manners exceeded my expectations. His attention and acknowledgement to my concerts, as well as his approach to my skin needs make me feel like he really cares for the well-being of skin health at every visit. Additionally, his medical assistant was not only knowledgeable, but caring as well. She spent extra time explaining the post-op in-office procedure care, making sure I felt confident before I left their office. Would I recommend this place? Of course, no doubt!

Dr. Mullens is a real gentleman. I've terrorized him with the most annoying questions and he patiently listened to me to the end. I don't usually write reviews. I remember leaving a review about him at the office, and he even had the courtesy to know what I thought in person, wanting to improve himself, something which takes a certain amount of humility. Many doctors today are either burned out or just don't love what they do. In the young Dr. Mullens's case, he fulfilled the Hippocratic oath he made becoming a doctor. Maybe for some, a more closed up character is preferred. That is depending on the patient. For my feisty self, five stars would be an understatement.

I didn't have any issues scheduling my appointment. Dr was able to see me within a week and was friendly and answered my questions before I could even ask them. Follow up visits went just as smooth.

Been coming here for awhile now never had anything bad to say until now. I’ve called them over 10 time in a 4 day period to get my prescription... not to set up an appointment but to get the medicine I need and change my pharmacy because I live 1 hour away from my previous place. Please don’t tell your patients that their wrong when the only attempt you made to reach me was once at after 6pm then proceed (after 10 calls 4 voicemails) to tell me “I called you” then scoff. When all I want is a explanation. Then continuously places the blame on me for not picking up. (Doesn’t even leave a voicemail haha) I understand these are hard times and it’s busy but that doesn’t excuse bad manner in a business predicated on service. Thank you Celeste because I’ve never been this mad over something like this. Based on the reviews I’m not alone even though some may have some truth to it, never bothered me. How one truly bad experience can change the perspective of how a business is viewed by a long term patient... Please don’t send an automated message saying it is getting to the appropriate “staff” because that doesn’t seem to be the case...
