I have to agree with the comments that say Dr Byrne does not take the time to explain what's going on to you. On 2 visits, I had to ask clarification of meds at the front desk as I was checking out, because she practically ran out of the room. Never once did she ask me if I had any questions. She did a procedure on me without taking the time to explain what was happening or what was going to happen next in the procedure. I jumped from a pinch, but she never bothered to explain anything at that point. In fact, I still am not clear on just what is wrong with me. I've been doing my own research online trying to find answers. I sure wasn't treated with any kind of dignity or concern. Dr. Byrne, I'm sure you are quite good at your job, but your \bedside\ manner leaves a lot to be desired. Marianne Everly

All these reviews about Dr. Bryne being compassionate, having good bedside manner and attentive are FALSE. I am a doctor myself and even informed her of such. My appt with her lasted all of 3 min. VERY concerning this could have been a telemedicine appt. Especially with the raising covid-19 rates. I was told a new patient can not have a telemed appt. For a 3 minute face to face time with Dr. Bryne and ZERO examination. Ironwood needs to reconsider that policy. She pushed medication without having a complete diagnosis or doing an exam. I told her I wanted to try a behavioral approach. She said ok. Then did not suggest anything (Taking a proactive approach I researched and was well aware of several behavioral approaches). She mentioned wanting to have a follow-up but didn't explain the procedure. Nor did she ask if I had any questions or what my major concerns were regarding why I was there. She rushed me out the door (literally) before I even knew/realized the appointment was over. She told me to follow her, handed me a pamphlet and said make a follow-up appt. As a health care professional her approach is appalling and concerning. She may be good at surgeries as some have mentioned in the reviews. I do not feel comfortable trusting someone with my overall health and maybe life who doesn't activity listen, and asks nor answer questions. This will be escalate and I will be expressing the quality of care with my insurance provider.
Dr. Lauren Byrne has exceptional bed side manner, very caring and I'm confident she will keep me as healthy as possible. I highly trust and recommend her
Dr. Byrne is very compassionate and knowledgeable. She is an excellent surgeon!
I have to say I wasn’t very happy with her follow up, but after having severe abdominal pain, it took three phone calls, but dr Byrnes med assistant Gloria was able to get me into the office at the last minute. It was a very painful solution but it really helped with my pain
