Rude front desk. They have signs everywhere that we should wear a mask, however the front desk lady (blonde, almost white hair) was not wearing one during the whole time I was waiting, so I believe the rules dont apply to her. She did not greet patients and was not friendly AT ALL! Upon entering the room with the therapist, I was informed that she didn't require mask in the room and removed hers right away. The room was small. I am not going back there. Updating my review: On 10/12, the office manager, Heidi, called me to address this Google review. She apologized for what happened and she said that this issue was going to be addressed because they take this matter seriously. I explained that a place that people are going to treat mental health issues should not produce more anxiety. She agreed with that. She was friendly over the phone and asked me to walk through of what happened. And again, she informed that the issue was going to be addressed with the parties involved.

I would put negative stars if I could. My 3 girls went to Amanda Overson a few years ago right after their dad and I divorced. We have 50/50 decision making. They went to her for a while. The entire time she never returned my calls or emails. The one and only time I received any kind of communication was when she said they no longer needed to come anymore. Of course this was right after I emailed her telling her I was not agreeing my girls seeing her anymore.this last week my girls informed me that my two oldest had gone to see her. This was all arranged without my knowledge and purposely behind my back. I sent an email to her as soon as I found this out telling her she did not have my permission to treat my children and that my youngests appointment needed to be canceled. This behavior is completely unacceptable and I would recommend everyone to find a different practice. One with honest counselors.

Me and my two teenage daughters have been going to Ironwood for almost 3 years now, and having a history of counselors, I am delighted to acknowledge that Ironwood is the best I have ever gone too. Their staff are so sweet, caring, and courteous. I see Dr. Dinehart once a week for over a year now, and he is as professional as they come. He is considerate, emotionally intelligent and mentally challenging. He has helped me grow so much and quite honestly has been my rock these past 2 years. He is pretty amazing. My older teenager sees, Mr. Klinkner for the last 2 years, and he is absolutely amazing. These men are so honest and caring and loyal to their patients, they treat us as family. I took my younger teenage daughter to see Amanda Overstreet last month and I was horrified with Amanda even during the first interview. She put thoughts into my already influential girl and began immediately dividing my family. We never made a second appointment. My daughter currently sees Tracey Palmer now for the last month and I am already seeing positive results. I personally can't say enough good about this counseling office. They treat their patients with respect, loyalty, and kindness. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Janine Stanley Is the most dedicated family therapist we could have ever hoped to find for our family. I would not recommend a Large Family start with Ironwood Counseling due to the minimal amount of online assistance that is offered to multiple family clients. Hopefully the staff will catch up with family oriented online needs. Especially if this is the way they plan to continue operating with clients.

The office staff has been amazing and without the Help of Nicole LoRe, my life would still be in a dark place. She has been an amazing Rock, that I beat myself against, when times get rough. When I need it handed to me straight, she is there and when I need to cry and laugh, she is there! Thank You everyone at Ironwood Counseling! Tammy
