I've never had a bad experience with the lab techs here and I go every other month or so. This morning the girl was particularly nice - I've had her before and she's always kind and makes sure that you are comfortable with blood draws.

Upon arrival with my lab order in hand, I was curtly directed to sign in on a kiosk, sit and wait to be called to the front desk; scolded and told to wait without even a cursory glance at the lab order. I arrived at 10:49, used the kiosk, and waited to hear my name and get permission to approach the front desk. KRISTIE is the ONLY REASON this place earned a second star, as at 11:21 she checked me in, and told me the check-in kiosk did not work. Three tubes of blood, the lab tech was good! From 10:49 until 12:05 for a blood draw ! ? !
I went in to have my lab work done as a walk-in. I was immediately met and greeted at the door. She offered to check me in, and was very kind. I was then called up to desk to give my lab paperwork and ID, as well as my insurance. Very shortly I was called to the back, having a wonderful experience as the lady drawing my blood was so friendly as well as a very experienced phlebotomist. I was in and out in 40 minutes!! Kudos to this office for taking such good care of their patients️
The wait was too long. For some reason the reception staff was not checking in people. More than a few people waited for longer than a half hour to be told they were in the wrong place. If your paperwork says Labcorp don't go here. For my simple blood draw, it took an hour and a half.
I arrived and walked up to the desk with a smile and said “hi, I am here to check in for my appointment.” The first receptionist said “you can check in on the kiosk.” No ‘hi’ or ‘good morning’... just a point telling me to check in on a machine. After waiting a normal amount of time the second receptionist says “David, approach the desk.” I’ve never had anyone communicate that way to me. Then when I walked up, no ‘hi’ or ‘good morning’ - “insurance and lab order?” 10 seconds later the woman’s says: “fasting.” I said excuse me? And she replied, “are you fasting?” Never looked at me. I am a person and 2020 has been hard... A smile and greeting can really go a long way and I didn’t get either... I don’t think it’s too much to ask. Really disappointed that these two ladies weren’t friendly. TSA is more friendly than the receptionists I interacted with.
