This is some of the best food I've had at a bar/restaurant. Really some of the best food period. I had the perch sandwich and it was perfect. Light and flakey fish with very light and non-salty breading. The veggies were fresh and crisp. Even the fries were great. My wife had a salad with chicken breast. All very fresh with a nice house dressing. The chicken was super moist and again not salty. The house made croutons are wonderful. My grandson had the BLT. Thick cut flavorful bacon and fresh veggies on sourdough. Great! I highly recommend trying the Glarner Stube. They clearly have a talented chef.
Always great food and outstanding service. Try anything on the menu that looks good. If you think it sounds good, it will taste fantastic!

My husband and my friend and I all came to New Glarus today, and were looking for somewhere to eat. Glarner Stube was amazing! They had a wait but they accommodated us to get us in sooner! The food was AMAZING!! We filled up on Fondue but did our best to eat our DELICIOUS entrees!!
