The positive was that I was happy with what I got for my items. The negatives were that they mixed a few of my items up, took six months for me to be paid, and I had to call a few times without receiving a call back.

This auction house is amazing they always answer my questions quickly. They send me my information like my tracking numbers quickly. Their shipping is amazing the way that they package the items. I buy a lot of glass items at auctions and I don't have any trouble with any of them being broke or anything like that! They take the utmost care of my items and I greatly appreciate it and it makes me feel confident to buy things online that I normally wouldn't be able to! Stay away from this place, they’ve turned deception into an art. I participated to two auctions for items coming (supposedly) from Lowe’s. I bid on a Dyson vacuum cleaner, presented in its box as if it were new – but it was actually used, the head was covered with heavy scratches and the container was full of dirt. I bid on Fiskars limb loppers, with “the original label on” ; these loppers had been heavily used, to the point that the edge of the blade was broken on a third of its length - in other words, these loppers are as good as scrap metal. I bid on a Fluidmaster conversion system, for which I put a maximum bid of 10 (knowing that it is selling for 22.50 on Amazon). I found myself “the winner” with a bid of 30 that I had never put in. There is one star to this review, but only because the system does not allow no star.
Love the site and the facility where you can view in person all the wonderful items available for sale. You name it they have it... I love the brand new leather sofa I purchased through auction.
Dixon auctions picked up all our items after our home sold in Powhatan va. They sold some of our items and we got paid for some of them. They charged us twice the 225 pick up fee. I had pictures of 30 items that sold on their website but it took calling BBB and consumer protection to get my 225 fee back and payment on the 30 items I had proof that sold. My issue now is that there are many items that never got put up for auction. When you call, you are told Billy will get back to you and he never does. When you email I was told they don’t have the items. I have pictures and videos of all my items the day they were picked up. I feel disrespected and now my emails are being ignored. I do not recommend Dixon auctions. Very unorganized and not good costumer service. I will never give up on finding out what happened to my items. Mr Dixon has not offered to make things right
