Just want to compliment the maintenance staff, they do a phenomenal job. Especially Devin, he is top notch, very friendly and gets the job done well. I enjoy living in this apartment complex

Walls are super thin, most likely from little to no sound proofing. As a result you can never get a good nights worth of sleep, and can hear what all of your neighbors are doing at any hour. Appliances are constantly having issues, mainly because they’re cheap. HVAC system is outdated and needs replacement. In addition, the access gates are always broken. I have literally been trapped in the complex. Wanna order out? Pizza? Chinese? Good luck navigating delivery instructions with gate code and door access. I will say one thing. The staff is incredibly helpful and truthfully try to help in ANY way they can. The maintenance staff are awesome and they’re good people and will help in any way they. Overall good staffing, but just poorly developed/designed apartments for the price you’re paying

UPDATE 2: Still have the humming noise and it's louder. This complex is truly lacking in the maintenance department. They said 2 months ago they were taking care of \emergency\ items; TWO MONTHS AGO. Alyssa was supposed to call me back 2 days ago; still nothing. I would not live here and just take your money to another complex. Management doesn't care about fixing, just getting their money from you. The next step is to file a complaint with the City of Henrico, withholding rent and consulting with a legal advisor. It's absolutely RIDICULOUS. I wish there were negative stars to choose from. UPDATE: Still have the humming noise..... 5 months and rolling. Don't believe the reviews here. They offer prizes/drawings for leaving a \good\ review. So yes, the reviews are based on something provided to the residents. There are pros and cons for living here. Currently I'm having a major issue with having a humming noise issue resolved to where I'm unable to get a restful sleep. I've called the office 4 times in a 3 week period and they're constantly giving me the unaround\ with no resolution or even a \follow-up\. I even mentioned I'd be writing this review if I didn't hear back from them today, as Alyssa promised... nothing. Aside from that, I have a neighbor that let their dog pee and poop all around the building. There's so much urine around their patio that the grass doesn't grow anymore. 1485 is a load of money to pay for rent and you can get decent resolutions to issues you may have. I selected this community because it's in Short Pump, close to my job, great for walking and bike riding. I'm VERY disappointed in the service I'm getting from the leasing office. I wonder if other residents are getting this kind of treatment?

Found mouse droppings in my apartment, which forced me to stay in a hotel. They never compensated me for my expense and they never retrieved the additional mouse traps...disgusted to say the least. Too much rent for subpar living! As of today, they have failed to compensate me for monies spent on the hotel accommodations and the traps are STILL INSIDE!
