Went to a couple stores in the area today and found this to be by far the best. The staff are extremely passionate and knowledgeable. I felt a genuine care for helping me find the right firearm. The shop has a comfortable atmosphere. Love this place, I highly recommend it. This is my “go to” store

American Gun Works is one of the best firearm establishments in the greater Los Angeles area. From my few visits here, Jeff and everyone else were extremely reasonable in aiding me with ammunition and accessory purchases and I would highly recommend giving them a visit for all your firearm needs. Please be patient, courteous, and understanding, especially nowadays, as times are tough, demand is high, and not always is there someone available to assist you. I can’t say enough great things! They have a great range of cowboy action calibers, specializing in Western and classic American firearms and varieties of percussion/flintlock muzzle loaders as well as will be able to assist you in getting the hand/long gun of your needs, whether it be modern, reproduction, or historical original. Their accessories range from magazines to bore brushes to powder flasks and everything in between. My go-to shop!

One of my buddies told me about this place. I drove an hour to check it out. Bought targets for the range , upgraded my firearm to the extended mag release and extended slide catch. Just the upgrades together were about 20 dollars with free installation. Took less than 5 minutes. Employees are friendly.
