I strongly recommend staying away from this school. Thankfully, I had not unenrolled my children at their regular public school. If you have questions, you get bounced all over on who to contact. When finally getting a hold of someone, they say “go find it on the website”. Therefore, I decided to unenroll my children. I fill out the online form and they still are not unenrolled. I get automatic messages. I attempt to call the school and nobody comes to the phone. HORRIBLE

I love this school! I started going to AZVA in 2014 (and I'm still currently enrolled) and it's awesome. I've made many friendships with friends who currently and used to go to AZVA. Before I went to AZVA, I went to a school in my town that was \Sunrise Elementary School\ in Yuma, AZ. I was bullied a lot through 2nd to 3rd grade which after my 3rd grade year I was put into home schooling. I thank my mom for putting me in this fantastic school and I'm thankful for all the friends and friendships I have made. :)

Everything at this school would be great if it wasn't for one English teacher who is constantly requiring 6th graders to write full essays with rough draft in one day on top all the other work. It is selfish to take so much time from children.

They like to unenroll your child with no notification and not answer the phone when you call to get it sorted out. I'm in the process of pulling out the rest of my children and enrolling them into another school.

My wife and I have 6 kids, she is a stay at home mom which started the k12 online school program this year. Arizona Virtual Acadamy locked my son out of his classes because she wouldn’t take him down town to the office for an evaluation. It’s been a ruff start but hopefully we can get things worked out. I have seen a big improvement in my sons reading and math.

I have been trying to get off their mailing/call list for a week now. I have spoke to someone at AVA and K12 and I have unsubscribed from every email I get and replied to any that I couldn't unsubscribe to asked to be removed and still am getting spammed. Today alone I have had 4 emails and 2 phone calls. I can't speak for the education your child will get, but, I can say they can't even handle a simple request to be removed off their list.
