This was my first time at the West Thunderbird Rd in Glendale location. I would go again and refer friends and family. The building is clean with welcoming decor. All Staff, from COVID check at entrance, front office/check in, and imaging tech were friendly, knowledgeable, professional and helpful. When I was contacted that my Dr. sent in an X-ray request, they had me schedule an appt. I have always had X-rays as a walk in only no matter where I go, but not a problem, I scheduled. I had appts prior to X-ray in same building starting at 7a.m. It was very warm in the lobbies of appts. I was done very early and went to Banner to ask about getting in before appt in2 hours. They were accommodating, and said they do not schedule for X-ray, sorry for the confusion. My only complaint- it was not the staffs fault. It’s now 8:30 a.m. and the staff and patients were all sweating and uncomfortable. I asked the front desk why it was so warm, and was told the air conditioning was broken, the fan was running nonstop blowing warm air. At that point they were waiting to hear back on the repair man. I told them I think they should all reschedule patients. I cannot even imagine what it would be like in there later when it was over 100 degrees out.

I personally want to thank Heather, Sandy and Destiny for going above and beyond to help me get my biopsy scheduled and helping me figure things out. Ladies you are truly a blessing. On December 16, 2019, I had my appointment with my PCP. I have a very bad right knee which is looking like a hot air balloon. I went to this facility immediately after my PCP appointment for the xrays which my PCP ordered. The X-ray tech and desk personnel were great. After my xrays the tech told me my results would be sent to my PCP in 2-3 days. I called my PCP’s office on Friday, December 27, 2019. At that time, the X-ray report still was not sent. I am hobbling around in pain and afraid I am going to fall as my knee will give out. To my knowledge nothing has been sent to my PCP as of December 30, 2019.

I was in for a mammogram. I became very dizzy and almost passed out. The staff was wonderful! They helped me to a private area, brought me juice, a cold pack for my neck and checked on me several times until I felt strong enough to leave. I am very grateful to these professional and caring women.

My husband went here for a back xray. He could barely walk (had to rely on a walker) due to his pain and is a bigger guy. I went in with him and I told the tech not to lay him down on the table as he would not be able to get up. I advised that even the dr did not lay him down and also ordered a MRI to follow the xray (normally they order them separately). Well as figured I could hear my husband screaming when they were in there trying to get him up. Keep in mind I had the same set of xrays about 2 months before and stood for them. I was just about to barge in to help my husband when the tech came out and asked if I could help get him up! It was very painful for him and this was not necessary. Oh yea, by the way, my husband had 2 fractured vertebrae! Thanks Valley.....never will you see our family again.
