The statue of Miss American Green Cross at its trailhead is a beautiful reminder of early American reforestation history. Sculpted by Frederick Willard Potter in 1928 as a symbol of conservation movement in the U. S. and particularly Glendale to save the forests of America.

Amazing trail. Less people than the Hollywood trail. 6/10 difficulty.
Loved the experience, there are many trail options according to your hiking abilities. Be wise which path you take. One of them is a tough one. Proper shoes are a must. Great view of the city.
Awesome trail however the last part get super steep, you need good pair of trail shoes.
Gorgeous view, pretty steep so you can have your heart pumping at a higher rate.
