Still a tad pricey for me, especially the desserts, but phenomenal onion rings and hamburger meat. The fries are shoestring and not very good -- years in the food industry and a chef -- but surely great for many or they wouldn't be that way. The taste of the burgers are terrific but I didn't realize when they ask if you want mustard that there's enough for a family on one burger! Ha! But again, they're famed for that so it must be good that way. I'm from Kansas City and there are awesome burgers with mustard, onion, and pickle gobbed on, so I know it's been popular for decades at least, all of that, but it just tasted like mustard and I'm okay with a small amount. All in all, eat at Freddy's, really homey, good food. Nice staff at the window, too!

Decided to try someplace new (to me). I ordered the California style double stack combo without onions and a dirt custard sundae. The drive thru was a long wait (after you already ordered). By the time I got my order and got home, my custard was melty, my fries were cold. The burger was good, ordered mine without onions. The patties are very different from what I am used too. Thin sliced ground beef patty (as thin as deli sliced meat), but you get 2 of them making it a lot of meat. The fries were cold, and stale by the time I got home. They were thin pieces, almost like noodle sizes. Drink was a dr pepper. It was good. Btw, the cost for the combo was 10 for a small drink, the burger, and the fries. The dirt custard sundae was good. Mine was super melty. The gummy worms were hard and chewy. The size I thought I ordered medium, but it was actually pretty big (too much). (Regular size I think.) I don't think I will come back for the combo's in future. I might for the ice cream.
One of the best burgers around. I also love the flavor of their French fries, but I always get frustrated by them. They use \shoestring\ fries and while delicious, you only really get about half an order because the rest are so small they are useless for dipping in the fry sauce and about a quarter of the order ends up being French fry \bits\. Wish they would use a bigger fry.
The Chocolate custard is a must-try! It's so smooth and creamy!! I Had the cod sandwich-love their soft buns!!!? No to mention the shoestring with a hint of season salt. Mm..mm.
We had a great time here, Good food and fast service. Staff is friendly and very much welcoming. Their Burger is good, especially their authentic shoestring Fries are awesome definitely recommended go ahead try it out if you haven't tried yet. And Their Sundae's options are also great you wont regret it going there.
