Of all the Sanitation Departments, this one is the most sanitary.

I really appreciate the workers that come around and pick up my trash and recycle cans. Because I am disable they really help me. I want to thank them for caring for me and my children.

I called to get a replacement for a damaged recycling container. The person I spoke with was very pleasant and efficient. The work order was placed promptly and a replacement is expected within the next couple weeks.

I’ve called a few times over my time living in Glendale and each time I have been disappointed in the attitude of the staff. They do a great job at making you feel like an inconvenience to them and it seems they want to make you feel guilty because they have to deal with trash. Don’t like your job, get a new one because someone out there will happily take yours and provide the citizens with outstanding service.

Zero stars but it required one to even hate it and allow me to publish this. The sanitation plant near Union Hills and 101 was promised to be state of the art and no odor. This is not the first time but this is the time that overwhelmed my patients. It is Thanksgiving and the weather is nice but the odor from the plant eliminates enjoyment of outdoor activity. Driving West on Union Hills at 83 requires windows raised to eliminate any outside air. I would rather have the smoke from the recent mulch fire to drown out the fumes from Glendale sanitation.
