Had a need arise for some help the last few months and acquiring it online was the best option available. Kate came highly recommended so I figured we'd give it a shot. She was more than flexible with us on everything and her rates were on par with others researched. Kate struck me as a down to earth good person and a fantastic teacher to boot! She explained things in a way where things clicked almost instantly. The entire experience was top notch and one I recommend highly as I am not sure we could have done any better had we met under more normal circumstances. I came to Kate in an absolute panic for my 7th grader. She was failing every single class and had absolutely checked out. We'd already gone the therapy route and a friend suggested Kate take a look at my daughter's academics. Kate is an incredible mix of kind and understanding but still firm with her students. She has high expectations and takes no \stuff\ from the kids but she's also really understanding of my daughter's emotional difficulties. I feel like she's an important member of our team now.

Kate's by far one of the best tutors in the area! She's extremely personable, friendly, and unbelievably accommodating. That's not even scratching the surface in regards to her tutoring skills! She connected with my son immediately and helped make him feel comfortable and at ease right from the start. He had been struggling with several topics in school: math and history mainly. She was able to help make learning fun for him and his grades showed a drastic marked improvement! I think it's extremely important for a student and a tutor to get along, communicate clearly, and have a good grasp on what teaching styles work for each individual student. I've recommended to all of my friends and urge you to reach out to her if you or your kids need any help with improving their grades, SAT, ACT, or PSAT scores! Thank you for all your help!
