Unfortunately our time at mimi's was not very good. Our server was fantastic, he made everything a lot better. He was very friendly and made many jokes. I think his name was Randy (it started with an R but it was said once and my memory is terrible). We had to change seating because it was too dark for my partner (he doesn't like sitting in rooms that aren't bright) and that's perfectly fine. I got the Jambalaya. My partner got a soup and salad. The reason I gave Mimi's a three is because the soup and my Jambalaya were cold. I could tell it wasn't freshly made but it tasted quite nice. My partner on the other hand wasn't having that pleasant time and was feeling unwell. I think it might have been the lemonade because it definitely kicked off my allergies. My partner mentioned that the restrooms smelt of chemicals. Which if I had been the one to find that out it probably would have sent me into an allergy attack. The good things were that out server was fantastic. A really helpful and funny guy! and that the desert -molten lava cake- tasted great. Thanks for those guys! I'm thinking it all was because of how late it was, It was an hour before closing. I'd suggest trying it maybe a little earlier in the day and to be prepared at the bill being a bit pricey. All in all I give it a 3/5 with room for improvement. I hope your experience with the cafe are better than ours. Happy eating!

Bread was great on my french dip, but the beef was so dry it was crumbly. Salad was tasty. Husband's chicken dish was very good. Service not so good.
Took a long time to get our food. The food was very good and the waitress was very attentive. We ate it all. We sat in a booth on the east side by the windows. The A/C blows directly on you. I was freezing! This is the 2nd time I've ate in this dining room and froze. Take a jacket if you go here.
3-20-19 super duper SLOW!! Today.. waited 60 minutes to get served. After we ordered.. This is my first time here. Come with my daughter & grandson. Jaye the manager was super duper nice. Food was delicious it looked as good as the picture & great prices also. Excellent customer service give Jaye and her crew a raise .. 10 gold stars gold stars!!! OMG & FREE MUFFINS. I'm a fatty like that
We go to Mimi's every year for Thanksgiving. It is always good, but this year I am taking points off for their green bean casserole. I really did not like it and I usually like green bean casserole. The service was great and the servers wore masks. There was plexiglass between the booths and the restaurant was not as full as they usually are to keep with the social distancing. In all, we had a nice dinner.
