Amazing experience. Perfect for a weekend workout. The trail is really scenic with the city view. The hike was not too hard.

Beautiful area. Lots to see. Trails are defined. Good area to hike, think, and observe nature. You see a few people, but not a crowded trail. The views are amazing. It was nice hiking with my husband and dogs. Take lots of water. There are some trails that are pretty steep. You will see birds, lizards, and bees. If you get up early, the temps are very pleasant. Great experience and we can't wait to get out and do it again.
This is my workout trail. I go all the way up to the top. It is steep. I do this trail once a week and twice hikes in Angeles national forest total of 30 miles a week.
Beautiful trail. Unfortunately no views today because it was overcast, foggy and drizzling. Awesome workout :) Fyi, found some house keys, there at the bottom hanging by the gate :)
Great hike. If you go to the left on the smaller trail, its shaded and the terrain is a bit more varied. It was very easy for my kids, 3 and 5. A few slips climbing on rocks. Be sure to wear long pants as there are tons of poison oak. Not sure where it ends but we stopped when the trail looked like it was continuing on in water.
