In November of 2019 I had a parent conference with my sons teacher turns out he was 3 levels in reading behind and only knew 24 sight words. That’s when my husband and I decided to enroll him in Sylvan. He started in December winter break. Last week I had a follow up meeting with the track my son moved up 3 levels in reading and went from knowing 24 sight words to 41 from mid December to early Feb. I am extremely satisfied with Sylvan!

My kid has been evaluated and has taken 4 classes so far, which is very good. He likes the teachers and learning atmosphere here, which I think is very important. The assessment and practice arrangements for my kid are reasonable. Thank you Sylvan teachers.

I am writing an update to my positive review of 4 months ago. My son Logan’s math confidence and knowledge has greatly improved and is reflected in improved grades in school. He is not at grade level yet, but he is working towards that goal. Sylvan is not a magic switch but the positive approach it takes, speaking purely from my own observation with my son, creates a learning environment that my son buys into & has said that he likes coming here! The result being improved knowledge, and most of all... improved academic confidence. I could easily hire a tutor to work with my son on subjects in tandem with what he is working on in his his school but without the base knowledge and understanding, what good what that do? Therefore, I look forward to continued progress with my son here at Sylvan Glendora.
