I understand they were busy, but not thrilled with the customer service. Last Saturday, I called to place a take out order. I was put on hold for 10 minutes, and then hung up on. No biggie, mistakes happen. I called back again, was put on hold for about 5 minutes, and then hung up on again. My husband suggested going elsewhere, but I was persistent because I was craving Italian food. I called back and third time, and before I could be put on hold a third time, I interjected and said: "Sorry, but I've been hung up on twice, could I please either order or not be hung up on again?" The person answering the phone asked me to wait a moment, and I could hear her in the background say: "This guy is angry, can someone else handle it.." Funny enough, I wasn't even angry and was barely even "firm." (I'm a very soft spoken kind of guy.) A gentleman took my order and told me it would be ready in about 25 minutes. We walk over there and I get there in 25 minutes. I had to wait for about 15 more minutes before getting my food. The food was good and satisfying, but nothing earth shatteringly amazing to merit going through that process again, especially when there are so many other good restaurants in town. Maybe I'll try them again when we can dine in person.

Good value for Italian food. 20 bucks for salad, entree and dessert is unbeatable. Portions are generous we had to take our left overs togo. You get sherbet for dessert but I've opted for spumoni (4 extra). A bit steep for the upgrade but seems like you are paying the full price (4) for the full size order of spumoni.

Was tourists to the area I would recommend. Our food was very tasty and could tell it just didn’t come from a can. The bread is plain, however, when you put that garlic butter on it it’s amazing. I would package that butter. Our waitress was nice. They don’t seem to follow a lot of COVID guidelines though which is why I gave them 4 stars. They have crowded people at the bar. People walking in without masks.

The food is amazing, the services is always welcoming and the owners care about their food and establishment. The decor takes one away and all the old pictures of Glenwood bring the history to life as you enjoy your meal. Im glad they have survived the madness imposed on all small businesses. This has been a must stop and eat every trip. I love the home made bread and their butter is amazing. If your looking for what the one stars people want you best go to Italy. Other wise this mountain Italian restaurant hidden in the mountain beats all.

Not sure why all the good reviews? That's why I tried it... Very disappointing! People that left good reviews must not have eaten authentic Italian food before because this is far from it!! Overpriced and honestly I have had better Italian food at Fazoli's. Only reason I gave two stars is because the staff was friendly. If you enjoy Real Italian food this is not it. Even the cherry peppers were gross. 22 for this?? TV dinner style, cheap pasta, poorly seasoned, low quality ingredients.

This was some of the worst food my family has ever had.The flavor of the sauce was disgusting. Please do not waste your money. Fazolis is better then this place will ever be! On that note my wife, did attest that the drinks were decent. The staff was nice, but very inattentive I waited for over 25 minutes for my root beer... Will avoid in the future!

The underground Italian is so fitting! Because this "Italian" place should he buried 6 feet under. Food is definitely not "made in house" I am Italian and this is not Authentic AT ALL! Wine was not good. It was definitely bad or had been open too long. THE SERVICE WAS GREAT. OUR WAITRESS WAS REALLY NICE AND INFORMATIVE! Would never go back. The food was "fast food" Italian.. Like the McDonald's of Italian. I must say the dish I got was decent. THEN WHY WAS THE CHICKEN FROZEN?

Every time I come to Glenwood I eat here. This is an experience for everyone true I talian food not Americanized. Limited seating, always a wait but it is well worth it. You move through the list pretty quickly.
