We own a landscape architecture company, so you can imagine we would be picky when it comes to artificial turf in our own yard. We got rid of all our grass years ago, but my husband, Brian, who is a serious duffer, wanted a putting green in our back yard. This is right beside our outdoor kitchen and pizza oven, so it made sense for parties--guests would be able mingle, make pizzas, and then step over and putt while waiting for their pizza to cook. Brian chose Global Syn-Turf for our project. We are both thrilled we did. The quality is extremely high. It feels good underfoot. Even the cats like to roll around on it. If you haven't seen artificial turf in its modern iterations, check some out now--artificial turf has come a LONG way from what it used to be. It's softer and more realistic. The soil underneath DOES breathe, so no harm is done. And it's low-maintenance. Simply put, we love our putting green courtesy of Global Syn-Turf.
