As an Englishman, I thought I’d try the Turner’s fish and chips at the Gloucester location today and I was pleasantly surprised. The batter is not as thick and heavy as the English variety which, is probably a good thing, and the chips were delicious. I would definitely recommend it!

Visited town for a Whale watch and stopped in to bring home some fresh seafood. Scallops were fantastic. Swordfish looks good (dinner tonight) and the chowder was good (I prefer it a bit thicker, but flavor was good and had lots of stuff in it). The LOBSTER BISQUE had no meat... Called them up and the person packing my bag did not include the lobster and fish that is supposed to go with it. They are doing what they can to make it right. Was going to be 3 stars. It is now 5. If 4.5 was an option.

I generally love all fresh seafood markets. Plus the dudes working in here are so helpful. Good spot. Not a ton of parking, but we got lucky.

Fresh local seafood (although this time, by the time we arrived before closing time there was none. They had other fresh fish from far aways seas. We bought an amazing smoke salmon filet. But as last few times, the guy behind the counter forgot one of the items we ordered (he did not charge us for it) - it happened also to the customer behind us. (we both realized it by the time we arrived to the car and went back) . Excellent covid-19 hygiene
