Our private experience with the okapi was absolutely fantastic! It far exceeded any expectations we had. Our guide, Robert, was outstanding and so patient when my daughter was a bit apprehensive about feeding the animal. He also answered all our questions and you can tell that he genuinely loves his job. This was our first time visiting, but we are already planning our next time back. Cannot recommend enough!

BEST ZOO EVER! We visit every time we come see Mom! I just love this place. Plus, they are building a new water play area for the kids! It looks AMAZING! I can't wait to bring my kids back! The early admission is so worth the extra 10 per person, too. The animals were super active and the park wasn't busy at all. It was really nice.

My family and I love going to Tanganyika! We are season pass holders and have gone several times, and always had a pleasant experience! We hosted my daughter’s birthday party here and I’m so happy with how easy and laid back it was. You get a private party room, that Tanganyika staff will set up for you, just bring your cake and presents! We brought a few of our own decorations to add a theme to the party and set them up but it was so nice not to have to set up tables and chairs, or tear them down at the end! You get to pick 4 animals you want to be brought in to the party to learn and interact with, and I can not say enough great things about the patience the staff had with a lot of kids asking questions and being excited to see the animals! Love this place!

We did the baby penguin chick feeding here in February and it was fantastic! This place is very well organized and put together and they treat their animals great. I can't wait to try all their experiences to really connect with animals in a way you cannot do hardly anywhere else!
