Very nice clean room with a kitchenette for a great rate. Check in was very easy. Lockbox right next to ur room and just put the code in they text you. I would come back
Paid for extra services not received, charged for receiving packages, told me about a leak then blamed me on airbnb for the water bill going up. 23 5 min showers in 3 months. People smoking in neighboring rooms and the stink billowing in made it almost uninhabitable some days. Place has not been updated since the 70's and she wanted to charge me for things that were wrong with the place when I got there. Even the follow up is a lie airbnb denied any additional costs, because it was like that when I arrived.
Over heard woman speaking to I believe was the owner of the business if it was the owner they need to be eome kind of action taken because the mgr of the business was very upset amd I watched as she worked all day till late that night by herself and the owner I assume was load demanding things to get done but the mgr kept the best attitude and was a very hard worker my room was spotless and was treated with kindness I tipped her and told her to go find a different job that she worked to hard to deal with people like that
We recently visited the Shawnee National Forest for a weekend trip (amidst the pandemic) and decided to stay in the Unity Lodge for the night. Its super clean, fresh, lots of space, the pictures don't do justice to how spacious the lodge is! Its very affordable and we even got an upgrade. Its a 5 minute drive from the local supermarket, restaurants and the marina. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. :)
The room was super clean and my granddaughters Lyla 12 and Emma 16 months had a blast just hanging out with Nana eating fattening snacks with juice n soda. I recommend Unity Lodge to anyone. And an affordable price to treat the girls on a girls night out!!!!! Ty for your great service.
Unity Lodge was a nice rim for a good price to visit the Shawnee National Forest. The room I stayed in was very clean, and room service in the morning was friendly. One thing I thought was odd is that there was plastic on the mattresses. It kind of sounded like an infant crib mattress with that rustling sound every time I turned over. It also candid 2 make it a bit sweatier then a normal bad would be. There was parking on site, but the spot on the one end was fairly tight. Another interesting thing is that there was no microwave. There was a burner and a toaster oven provided, and that would have been fine, but there were no pans or anything provided. Overall, this was a great price and a very clean room, and I would go back.
Great communication through airbnb. Friendly staff. Quiet location. Cute little amenities in the room like a mini stove/conventional oven and television
