Both trails are awesome. Hieroglyphic trail is a lot of up with loose rock but not difficult. The Goldmine trail was cool, we walked around a corner and there were steers just eating grass looking at us like we were crazy. So much fun. Good short hike.

Gorgeous easy hike. Make sure to bring plenty of water. Petroglyphs are found on the cliffs. If you wander a little farther out you might find a few more hidden amongst the outcrops. Be mindful and please don’t touch them or rub against them in order to preserve them. Practice leave no trace behind. Great hike for a newbie to the desert or a family member visiting town.
