It’s a little cruise from Phoenix. The views were worth it. Beautiful clean area. A couple of port-a-potties at the parking lot. Didn’t make it too far down the trail. The kids got tired. We’re definitely putting it on list to hike again.

We hiked to the hieroglyphics. It was great nice steady climb up and back down. Well kept trail and no garbage or pet feces. I would highly recommend the hike for families with kids or the adventurous types. Next time I'll tackle the longer lost goldmine trail

Awesome hike, not too long took a little over an hour with a child in a carrier.

We hike to see the petroglyphs as often as we can. There is limited parking so you'll need to get there early for a spot. There is a nearby house that has a sign by the road for parking for 10 so look for that if the trailhead lot is full.

Good paved parking lot with easy access to the trail. No fees or permits required. I went on a Thursday and it wasn't full at all.
