The one star review is only because yes, Gold Capital offers financing on the buildings and doesn’t judge your credit harshly. That is where the good words stop however. My account was two months past due and I received my demand letter in the mail. After calling a few times over the past month to try and work out an arrangement for my missed payments which were due to my husband and I contracting covid and being out of work longer than the government PTO would allow. I wanted to try and split up the payments or add on to my payments for a few months to bring the account to current. Unfortunately the repo department was unwilling to offer more than one option; Pay two months payments then I could defer a payment. I explained that I couldn’t pay two months at once which was my problem but I could start paying my payments again in December and just needed some options to make up the two missed payments. I was met with one sentence “when can you make those payments?” I had all intentions on making those payments but the indifference in the employee I spoke with was extremely disappointing. I do not expect a handout, pity, or special treatment. What I did expect was to be met with understanding from the company during this unforeseen time everyone is going through and a little more time spent to work out options for a customer who has up until now not missed a payment or asked for any extensions or deferments. I finally had enough and went to a financial institution and got a loan to pay off Gold Capital. Of course the payoff amount was way higher than it was supposed to be but I had enough of the poor treatment and what do you know, everyone was SOOO NICE to me when I called to pay off my account!! If you need a building on payments then sure they’re fine but you better hope you don’t run in to any problems over the 4 years you’ll be paying on it!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! THEY ARE LIARS COMPLETE LIARS! EVERYTIME YOU ASK FOR A PAYOFF ITS 400, 500 ON TOP OF WHAT IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE THE LAST MONTH. I WILL BE REPORTING THEM TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU!
