What better place to celebrate the google IPO than lunch at the Gold Club? the food is pretty decent and they have really fresh salad with pretty decent dressing. And fried chicken. Did you read about the fried chicken?

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. So wonderful to have plant-based dining in CA , and everything on the menu is delicious. Highly recommend.

I've been here a few times.....enjoy the place: great atmosphere, and superb cocktails. Their cocktails are really unique, nothing like I've had in other places, with elements like ginger, hibiscus & tamarind that really give them a twist. Also, great appetizers. The pastelles are absolutely fantastic and the fried plantains were also great. The main courses are decent but not great. The Mafe tofu is what I usually get (choice of rice and kouskous), and it's got a peanut based sauce and is alright. Ditto with the spinach and okra guy (can't remember the name).

I'm not big on clubs like this, it's not my scene but I've been here q couple times with friends. It's clean enough, but the atmosphere feels uncomfortable, between the choice of fancy lighting and music, which I found to be neither upbeat nor entertaining.
