Fast and friendly service. The restaurant was clean. They seem to be on top of cleaning the table tops and changing tables over. The chicken strips were delicious. They were crispy and hot. The fries were crispy and hot too. The burger was good and well made. Only gripe would be that some of the cheese curds were chewy when we bit into them. It kind of seemed like it was rubbery. Not sure why that happens, but it was only a few of the big curds. The last time we came to this location maybe a month ago, the burgers were overdone and kinda dry, but this time is was good.
I have gone to the Culvers in Golden Valley many times as it is convenient to my home. I can say that the food is generally prepared consistent to most other Culvers. And it is usually pretty good. The problem I have with this store is that they have a quality control issue. The orders are always wrong-and I mean ALWAYS! Last night they didn't include the BBQ sauce for the chicken tenders. The last order they gave us 2 fries instead of 1 fries and 1 cheese curds. The time before no onions on the 4 burgers of course came with onions. Do we really have to check each bag? The way it generally works is you wait in line for 15 minutes for your order. When it comes the sundaes are melting and people behind you are anxious to get going and the kids are screaming so you just grab the bag and drive home. And then discover they did it again. If you can go to a different store - do it.
Great people. Very friendly. For fast food its not to bad
Everything on the menu is delicious, and the staff is always friendly! They've also implemented a very efficient system for the increased drive-thru traffic since COVID -- the lines are long, but they move quickly. They use special numbered post-its to ensure each car gets exactly what they ordered and keep things moving (McDonald's, take note!).
