It's an awesome gym! My trainer, Ryan Hemming, is professionally and personally committed to assisting me in improving my physical fitness. Ryan thinks outside the box and shows me things that challenge me and keeps my workouts fresh. He is very humble and polite, but has a passion for helping others to improve. He is always positive at any time of day and goes out of his way to greet you, even if you don't have a session that day and are there to work out on your own. He is the top trainer there in my opinion and is a huge reason that I love going to the gym. Thank you, Ryan. The gym has made dramatic improvement since the manager, Justin Pritchett, has taken over. Justin is always polite and courteous when speaking to patrons. What impresses me the most about Justin is that he leads by example; not only in his level of physical fitness, but by his actions. You will always see Justin walking around the gym taking care of things; from re-racking weights to picking up a water bottle to inspecting equipment. He is tireless in his efforts to support the customers and the gym. I have over 22 years in the military, and he epitomizes leadership. He possesses the finest qualities of what it takes to be in his position. Some people are managers, Justin is a leader. Congrats on the great job you have done with the gym, Justin.

Very spacious and pretty clean for a gym. Employees are friendly. The only drawback is how long it takes something to get fixed
Good place to workout... BUT, cleaning of the gym and locker room has significantly declined in the past 3 months as well as maintenance some of the machines.
After being medically retired from the Navy I needed to find a good place I could stay in shape that had every thing I was used to from the very large military gyms on base. Golds gym on Keith street has just that. The atmosphere is fantastic with good hours, friendly staff and patrons and clean facilities. The place has tons of space, clean, cool, fresh air and the fountain water tastes like it went through Himalayan lime stone compared to city water. This retired and disabled sailor has found a place to mend his steel and a great value as well. Very Respectfully, James Ramey GM1 SW US Navy (retired)
Great classes. Locker rooms are clean. I will pay more to be a member here for a full service gym.
Since the gym was taken over by Gold's, here's been the changes: -they are no longer a 24/7 gym (closing at 7pm on weekends is terrible) -they tore down the climbing wall -they now charge for childcare -I've seen equipment remain out of service for months at a time -the rubber grips are missing on almost every piece of cable equipment bars they have, never seen them fix any of it -and despite all these changes, my membership fee increased 35% The only saving grace are some of the instructors for the classes. Still, I doubt that will be enough to keep me on much longer. There's literally been no positive changes since Gold's acquired the gym.
Was a great back when. Might have to go back.
Very poor management. The equipment is usually broken, but it's still the best gym in the area.
