I’ve been visiting this location for the past year. It’s been a great experience, Aaron is the best trainer and I can say he is the only one I’ve seen the best results in my entire life. This location would be perfect if they would have a sauna. Some machines need a little update. Also they NEED more toning or endurance classes early in the morning (6am), any class really to add variety to our week. Many of us work during the day so we need early morning classes. Staff is great and friendly.

11/17/19. Thanks for addressing the pothole near 1960 exit. Just in time for daylight savings time change! Like the new music format also that shows the artist and album and video on the TV screens. 10/17/19. Glad to see the Astros playing during my late workout. 10/7/19. Can GG contact property management to fix the DEEP pothole. See attached photos. 9/20/2019. Seems that whoever has access to the TV remotes would set one of the TV channels to broadcast the Houston Astros before leaving their shift. 3/22/19 The individual weight scale needs to be fixed. Would suggest changing up the music format. Seems the same type of music is on every time I go. Would be good if the gym near Aldine Westfield would stay open until 8pm like the Kingwood gym on the weekends. 10pm would be great. Also time to update the treadmill machines. Put the Astros, Rockets, Texans on the TV. Lastly, I signed up with the 10 buddy program but was not able to bring my 10 year old under this program. Thought kids needed to get exercise also and away from video games...

This is the worst gym for so many reasons...if you get a membership be prepared to be treated like a nobody. First, they raise the rates every year...this year alone by 3 and I would be okay with that if they had better management there and it wasn't so ghetto of an atmosphere. But of course compared to the other gyms in that area, they are over priced and don't bring much to the table. As a marketing effort, they send a letter saying their rates went up and as a courtesy give you two 30 day passes for a friend (to bring another customer) and one guest past (for a third friend) in an effort to bring more members and keep you as a member as most people look for other better values. Well, I was not going to complain and stick with them but left the paper copy at home although I work out there everyday and had a photo copy and could bring the hard copy the next day. I called and asked to speak to manager but the clerk kept saying the manager said he can't do that and refused to get on the phone with me. I asked what his name was and she just gave me his first name and said I have no idea what his last name is and repeated that he said he won't come to the phone. I kept my composure and just laughed at the joke of a manager that is very unprofessional and can't do his job by talking to his customers. They need to hire leaders that aren't cowards behind the poor front desk people. I tried to call Corporate and that head of the snake is just as pathetic as they have a recording to leave a message vs. them addressing any issues. I have been a loyal member for over 5 years but after today will just switch over like a lot of people I know. No amount of coupons or letters can make up for incompetent managers that won't talk to customers to treat them like they mean something!

Great range of equipment, haven't had to wait to use anything. The classes are fun and get the job done. The young ladies working in the child care area are wonderful and my kiddo had a great time while I worked out. Facility is very clean. Glad I chose to get my membership here.

Was looking into joining Golds Gym after my personal trainer left the country. I found one of the trainers, Carlos through friends on social media. Sadly, it just so happened he posted something about a previous client who chose to cancel/postpone her membership calling her FAT TRASH. This is not the attitude of a reputable trainer who cares about clients. Pass on Golds Gym if they allow this type of behavior. Screen shots are available.

Worst experience ever. They enrol you with a lot of contradictory clauses in the contract. At the end, when I wanted to cancel my contract I ended up paying fines because there was no other way out... scam scam scam!

Gym is decent and clean but memberships are a trap. They will continue to charge you after you leave and not let you cancel account. Took 10 calls with a manager to finally get one who calls back and says they don’t have any proof of previous interactions/expectations.
