FLY At Goodyear is everything a flight school should be. Brought together by some of the most knowledgeable flight instructors in the aviation industry. Here you will be treated individually with respect and care for any skill level. Many planes available for rental and training, they do not skimp in the slightest when it comes to keeping them all well within maintenance. You will feel comfortable as safety is always number 1, but that doesn't mean you won't have an amazing and fun time every step of the way.

I wouldn’t give anything but five stars to this school. Our son has been flying with Mike for a couple of months now, and he’s ready for his check-ride. Mike has been an excellent instructor, very professional and good with scheduling. Our son is only seventeen and has had a very negative experience with Sierra Charlie Aviation in Scottsdale: the instructors were inexperienced, unprofessional, and kept leaving, so that our son had to start from scratch with each new one that was assigned to him, accumulating hours on his logbook and more money on our side. At FLY, he has had just ONE instructor, Mike, who has been amazingly good with our young son; he’s been patient and experienced. My husband is a captain at Southwest Airlines, and is thinking of becoming a CFI again. Of course he wants Mike as an instructor; he’s by far the most qualified. In our opinion, Scottsdale flight schools are pretentious and unreliable. FLY at GOODYEAR is the best choice and value for your money. Don’t think twice— go for it.

Had a discovery flight with Chris and it was amazing! He's really confident and easy going, which was exactly what I needed to relax and have fun on our flight. He's an awesome instructor and I'm glad my first time flying was with him.

I do not fly, but I work with many flight schools and student pilots. These folks are terrific instructors. Exceedingly safe and professional. I would recommend them to anyone without reservation.
