A must visit when in The Dalles! Great hospitality! Wendy and friends build these ukeleles right there in the back room! They are beautiful, play beautiful and wonderful tones. Locally made guitars as well!

One of the most disheartening customer service experiences ever. We rented a new instrument for our son to play in school and three months in had an issue with one of the keys sticking. We paid for the repair and it happened again a month later. They say it is \damage\ and not \defect\ so we have to keep paying over and over again for it to be repaired. Not happening. The business manager/owner was extremely difficult to talk with over the phone, continually cutting us off among other things. He also called my husband a liar. My husband is one of the most honest, upstanding citizens a person could ever meet, and serves & protects our local communities daily. The business manager/owner refused to work with us on this issue and we are returning the instrument and going elsewhere.

Instead of shopping online, I wanted to support the local business so I bought a product in store. The product needed a piece that they had to ship, so my ETA was 5-9 days. I was patient, and after the 9 days I went back to the store. The worker was fairly impatient and told me that he would call me when my piece was in. I call back 4 days later, and had the same experience. Finally, 18 days later (twice the original shipping deadline) I come into the shop to find that he had 1.) lost my phone number that I had given him twice and 2.) ordered the wrong part. I returned the item that day, and am now ordering what I need online. The reason this gets two stars instead of one is because the store is clean, and there was no drama for the return.
