These courses will challenge you even if you're in good physical shape. The two-hook, lock/unlock system takes time to learn, but by the end of your first course you get the hang of it. Zip lines are a lot of fun soaring 20-30' above the ground. But some of the pathways are tough and can seem scary (or you don't want to be embarrassed stuck hanging from the cables). Adult will likely need to go with kids. Lots of fun!

Excellent way to spend and active few outdoor hours swinging amongst the trees. They have treetop courses for everyone from small children (though they will quickly be bored) to a black diamond that even a gymnast would have difficulty with. Family spent multiple hours here moving up the difficulty scale and wanted to come back again. Only annoyance was the sometimes slower people in front that you need to wait for. They also have an extremely fast zipline which caused the area to be regularly punctuated by screams and mini golf course if you’re not already tired or are afraid of heights. Right next to the Kalahari Resort if you’re staying there, but you can participate even if you’re not.

Great place! This was the first treetop place we visited and had lots of fun! Some trails are much more difficult than they look from outside and need to be real strong to climb. Good that they have trails even for 4 year old kids

Amazing ropes courses for all skill levels. So well done! We went on a Friday night and it wasn't crowded. Staff was nice and helpful. We'll be back for sure. Tip: go at least 2 hours before they close for the day to have enough time to enjoy multiple courses.

Awesome experience. This is a must do when visiting Kalahari Resorts. I would recommend dedicating a minimum of 4 hours to spend at Gorilla Grove, zip line to rope tree top climbing, mini golf. We were there for 5 hours and managed to successfully complete 5 out of the 6 courses completing the most difficult course The black course. Will be coming back to Gorilla Grove. I would like to give a shout out to Cristal one of the staff members excellent experience great service we also did zip line and mini golf.

A great add-on experience to a Kalahari vacation. Short walk from the resort (in case you don't want to give up your awesome parking spot) or you can drive down and park there. Clean facility, they only allowed one family at a time in the registration office. You need to fill out the waivers which are located outside. We went with our 3 children 8-10 yrs old and they had a blast! We were able to get in the yellow and green course in about 2 hrs. We also added the double zip line at the end, which everyone loved. The course itself was a lot of fun and challenging at times. Each course had about 2 zip line sections, so if you don't want to spend the extra for the zip line, know that your kids will get to do some zip lining on the ropes course. You do get a pair of gloves for free with your registration, which comes in handy and was a nice surprise, kid's sizes available as well. There are picnic tables scattered through out the course if you just want to go and watch the kids do the course, bring water if you're going in the summer. Just an fyi, if your kids are under or about 47"-48" or have short arms, they may have a little trouble hooking on the zipline "attachment" during the rope course, our kids had trouble hooking onto the cable because they couldn't reach and the strap securing the zipline attachment wasn't very long. Luckily, big brother was with them and helped them get hooked on.
