Nice area. Closed Monday's and Tuesday's. No inflatables allowed, including arm floats, so be prepared for the little ones. They did have puddle jumper for use for the kids, so 1 star. Lots of steps and the beach is pretty rocky, wear water shoes.

Pretty good area to explore with the family... the beach area was pretty nice and calm (2 hours before closing) don’t spect it to find crystal clear water it’s a lake... I did some kayaking ...watch for boats at very high speed. Stay safe. Overall people working at this location were nice and kind.

Beautiful, it really is a sight to see. The water is blue. Very clean. But the beach area is very small

Beautiful and a great place to spend with the family. Some picnic tables and some shaded areas but bring water shoes the sand is a bit of a rocky mixture.

The lake is great but this designated swimming area is awful. The actual swim area is tiny and you're not allowed to swim beyond the yellow barrier. You're not allowed to have any floats, alcohol, or dogs in the swimming area. The lake is beautiful blue but the water at the swimming area is mud brown. The \beach\ is nothing more than mud and jagged rocks. Since you can't have anything that floats, I decided to park at the marina and paddle my paddleboard over to the edge of the swim area where my son and his mother were so I could pick him up and take him for a paddle. Nope....not allowed to do that either. Also, the restroom is a long walk up the steps and not convenient at all. Unless you have very small children (like 1-3 year olds) I can't think of any good reason to come here. Find a different spot that isn't so heavily regulated.
