I enrolled my oldest daughter into their Summer program a couple of years ago and had a very positive experience and my two younger daughters are currently enrolled this summer. We have had a very positive experience with Mathnasium and I would highly recommend it to anyone. They do a great job of pinpointing a student's weak areas and focusing on those areas until the students achieve mastery. The instructors do a great job of keeping me abreast about their progress with regularly scheduled discussions. One of the most important aspects is that they have been able to foster a positive learning experience. My daughters actually don't complain about going! I strongly feel that this is a great program to help my daughters get a leg up heading into fall.

I have two kids that attend Mathnasium in Granada Hills. Recently my kid’s school gave them a state assessment test in Math. My son who is in first grade was at a 4th grade level and my daughter who is in 4th grade tested at a 6th grade level. My kids like coming here. The staff is very friendly, always available and very accommodative. Worth the investment!
We signed up for Mathnasium in the earlier part of Covid when stay at home orders began. Two of my daughters were linked with instructors via the Granda Hills location's online platform. The program gave my girls an opportunity to be challenged intellectually while growing their math skillset. The instructors were friendly, professional and made the sessions exciting for the girls such that they were excited to be engaged each week. We highly recommend Mathnasium of Granada Hills for anyone looking to supplement or enhance their children's math capabilities.
My son enrolled in 7th grade to build a better foundation for math he has not mastered so he is ready to take his placement test for Algebra. He made it into Algebra!! Thank you!!
Math is not my forte. My son is in first grade and has been attending Mathnasium since the summer before he started school. I did not grow up with the common core method of teaching and learning math so there are times when even I am confused as to what his homework is asking him to do (diagramming, number sentences, explaining in writing how he got the answer because apparently diagramming and writing the number sentences in three different ways is not enough to explain how he got the answer). Mathnasium reinforces the learning he is doing in school and is actually ahead of what he is learning in school. A month after he started school, my son came home and told me the teacher taught a new math concept and some kids were confused but he knew what to do because he had already learned it at Mathnasium. Boom! And that's what I am paying for! I never have to drag my son to Mathnasium because he really wants to go. I highly recommend starting Mathnasium early so that your child can get a strong foundation in math and never fear it.
