The engine I purchased from AutoZone came from ATK North America. The engine I received was clean and came with a full gasket kit. I took my time installing it and primed the engine before attempting to start it. It fired right up and has been running great. I have full confidence this engine will last a long time.

Ordered a reman cylindar head via autozone. Arrived quick. Spent hours doing all the prep work. Dropped the head on, torqued it down and that's when i saw it. They rebuilt it wrong. Googled the return address and found they have all 1 star reviews. Returned it for full refund and brought my existing head to a local guy for a reman. What a joke. Complete waste of time.

Quick to get the motor out and the old one picked up. After 3 weeks of having the motor back they have not returned my Core Charge. Sales says they don't have access to that info and Customer Service will not provide a direct phone line or call back info. It sounds like they never intended to return my core charge. I suggest using a different company to buy your rebuilt motor. Maybe the competition will be as concerned about returning your money as they are getting theirs. These guys are not!!

30 years we have been in business. We purchased an engine and it started to lose oil pressure after 15 minutes. We contact at ATK to find out their procedure in order to rectify this situation. They had me perform a number of things including filling the crankcase all the way to the top to see if there was any air pockets Etc. After 2 weeks of going through their procedures of engine testing they agreed to send us a new engine because we still had less than 30 pounds of oil pressure after 15 minutes of this engine running. Once they receive the engine back and performed their own tests they called us and told us that they would not warranty the engine. They claimed we took the oil pump off of the engine and did not send it back. Anybody who works on cars knows that that doesn't make any sense and we would not benefit from doing such a thing. I am out 2,000 for my time equipment fluids and other materials needed to remove and reinstall an engine twice. This company gave us a procedure to follow which we did to the point. I will never purchase another engine from this company. Whoever is running this place now has ruined a 20-year relationship. Shame on you.
