We are a Subway franchisee owner and had a Cintas sales rep come into our store offering us to save money on our soap dispenser and towel usage so we told her we didn’t think she could cause all we spend a month is about 40. She said she would write up a proposal and the following Monday she came by wrote down floor mats, soap dispenser, and towels for 36. My wife asked monthly and she said yes, and we could cancel at any time. Then come to find out she said we signed a 2 year agreement and she said it was weekly. When I found out I asked if it was weekly why would it not be on the paper she gave me with the price. Her response is in my business we do weekly quotes. I told her I have two companies and I never have people quote business weekly. It’s either monthly or yearly and when they quote prices that wouldn’t be monthly they should write down weekly. She gave us her supervisors name “Eric” and number we reached out and he set up a meeting to come out and talk last Friday and he called moved it back a few hours then no show, no call. I have the paper she wrote the quote on and I either expect to have cintas come and get there equipment or honor the price she quoted and told us 36. As a small business owner going from a price of 36 a month to it being weekly is too much for what I am getting or even need. I could buy a new Subway Floor mat and my soap and towels every month for what I am paying. That’s 1,200 more a year than what I was spending on everything I would never agree to this. Please call me I have called the local office left name and number and no reply. If I don’t get a reply I will call the local news and make them aware of this practice your sales people have and see what there investigative team can discover. Your BBB page has nothing but similar complaints about misrepresentation from sales people. This is unethical and I have notified our corporate Subway office of the Cintas reps behavior and misleading practice.
