Love this store. We drive all the way from Houston. The specialty dyed yarns are wonderful and the variety available makes it yarn heaven. I could spend hours just touching and visualizing new projects. Take your will power with you. They were so helpful when we visited. They answered my daughter and my questions and then wound my purchases. They even helped solve an issue I had with sock yarn purchased online. Great family atmosphere.

Alissa, thank you so much for the yarn you chose for me to make my shawl in. I love the blue color and the yarn as well. I so appreciate your winding it for me as well. I was feeling well enough this evening to actually get the shawl started but it I had had to wind it, I wouldn't have had any stamina left. The service was so quick - I got the yarn today in the mail. Again, thanks so much. I hope to actually get to your shop and sit and stitch with you one of these days. Sue

This shop is a breath of fresh air for those living on the southern half of Dallas! A fairly wide section of yarns for all projects, including a defecting dyed exclusively for the shop. As a spinner, I enjoyed the fiber room, although I wish they carried fiber tools, too. It was good to see a class being taught when we visited. The teaching room is spacious and comfortable. I think I will go back for their spinner's night, on Thursdays. My only complaint was that the shop was SO hard to find. Give them a call if you get lost, they are friendly and willing to help! And look for building #19.

This shop is a gem, especially because of Alissa's classes. She's one of the best instructors I've taken a class from. Forget Craftsy -- sign up for her Don't Despair, Repair or another class and you'll learn more than you ever thought possible. I also like the exclusive hand dyed yarns she carries and the fact that all are welcome to drop by to knit, hang out, or for some pixie dust from the Knitting Fairy. Unlike other shops, the staff understands exactly what weight and type of yarn you need for your project.

I love this store. They have a little bit of everything except for knowledge. That, they have in spades! They are kind, welcoming, funny, tolerant, helpful and fun! I've gotten not only great yarn, great needles but great advice as well. It may not be my closest shop but its so, so worth the drive!

The knitting fairy is an excellent yarn shop. Not only does it have a great selection of yarns both indie died and big box, it is well organized. The staff is always super helpful and friendly. The "knitting table" is always open for you to just come and stitch with friends for a while. They also have several local artists work in the shop so if you are not on call you can take home something from a local artist! The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful.woth knowing problems and helping you select the right yarn for your project. Love this shop!

The owner was EXTREMELY nice and helpful. She went out of her way to make sure I got what I was looking for and didn't stop until I was happy. She doesn't have a WIDE variety but offers to special order anything you may need. Prices are decent too. I WILL be coming back

So awkward. Edit: So I bought 5 skeins of one color. I really wish the person that checked me out would have told me that the color was a never again situation because now I'm 4.5 skeins deep into a blanket that will never be finished. I can't even look at it. But it could have been entirely avoided with a little communication.
